Model is ic sm not sure if it locks in place once a stronger belt installed. Operates on 6 AA batteries that you supply. Original case is intact. I do get my packages out in one day but this unknown time, we just not know.

Being sold as it is for restoration. What I noticed when testing was the 2 belts that drive player are weak and need changing. This is for a vintage 1970s Muraco cassette tape recorder, made in japan by Murat products inc.

I opened the unit to show you belts. It was playing but briefly, I noticed audio working also. I did have to push in and hold the play button.
